Household and General Use: Rubber mats are used to absorb vibrations from household appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, air conditioners, pianos, etc., to prevent damage to the device during operation and to stop transferring  of the vibrations to the structure.

Medical: Rubber mats are used to dampen vibrations and noise from medical and dental equipment such as air and oxygen pumps and compressors, and other vibration sources. They can also be used as shock absorbers for dental units. Flat shock absorbers increase the lifespan of the equipment and prevent damage and losses to related structures and equipment.

Industrial: In industries, to absorb impacts, seismic shocks, and vibrations from industrial machinery—typically rotating equipment like pumps, compressors, chillers, and air handlers—flat shock absorbers should be placed between the foundation or frame of these machines and the structure to prevent vibration transfer from the equipment to the structure.

CAUSION:

When installing flat shock absorbers, to avoid interference from metal bolts with the equipment’s body or foundation and frame (such as pumps, chillers, air handlers, machining equipment, printing machines, etc.), it is recommended to use rubber washers and rings between the bolts and the structure. This ensures vibration damping of over 90 percent.
